Why Sport Psychology?
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Fort Lewis College, where I gained experience in the physical therapy field in Durango, Colorado. During this time, I identified a crucial gap in patient care—many individuals recovering from injury lacked support for the mental challenges that accompany rehabilitation. Recognizing this need, I became passionate about providing tools that not only enhance physical recovery but also build mental resilience, fostering a more holistic approach to healing.
To deepen my expertise in this area, I pursued a Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. I currently train with a Colorado-certified mentor to earn my Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) certification, further solidifying my commitment to integrating mental performance strategies into rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
Taking a person-centered approach, I tailor my support to each individual’s strengths and goals. Whether you're an athlete striving for peak performance or a patient navigating physical therapy, I am dedicated to helping you build resilience, confidence, and clarity. My mission is to empower you to unlock your full potential and make meaningful progress on your journey.
